On Saturday Butch, Joy and I went to an Native American
festival at a park near/in Huntsville. Here an exhibit of
tools and a demonstration of there use.

Indian dance was performed, onlookers were invited to
participate.

One young invitee was short on enthusiasm.

Young girl in center wears authentic leg wear made from
turtle shells. Lady to her right uses tin cans. Tin cans
are easier to find and make an equivalent noise.

Indian maiden and her woodwind instrument.

The main theme of the park was pioneer life.
This is newest edition; an 1810 log cabin.

The 1810 cabin had a center wall; each side of the wall
had a fireplace.

Balch log home, originally the dog trot plan, modified to add
kitchen area and back porch.

The morning was a little cool; the Balch fireplace was popular.
After the fire burned down I was able to get a picture of it.

Another log home.

Blacksmith shop and blacksmiths.

Demostration of a sorghum grinder

Mule turning the sorghum grinder had not shaved in a few days.

One of the types of rail fences used at the park.

Cross along a hiking trail; lights exist to light it up at night.
