A type of bird I've not seen before. A quick search on the
internet gave me the impression that it was a blue grosbeak. A
Peterson Field Guide bird book shows a blue grosbeak but doesn't
look quite like this. Therefore, it must be a blue cardinal or
a new species I'll call the Fritz bird (the Fritz bee didn't last
too long, will this one last?

Another bird I don't recall seeing. Possibly, a rufous-sided
towhee.

The previous two birds and this one were found around Mom's.
I thought it might be an eagle but the bird book shows no eagle
with a white tip on the tail; no hawk has it either. I'm not
good at identifying birds or else it's a new species, a Fritz
eagle!

One day I went to Cove Lake and took a hiking trail around it.
Another day I went back and veered off on a trail to Lookout
Window. It took me to a spot where I could look out over Cove
Lake with Mt. Magazine in the background and other hills/mountains
between the two.

On the way back to Mississippi I stop at Pinnacle Mountain
State Park and took this picture of the Arkansas River.

At Lou and Marge's a picture of Alex's new puppy was taken.
She's Dixie, Dixie Daisy, Dixie Daisy Duke or Dixie Daisy Mae Yokum.

This water lily picture was taken at Huckabee Nature Center
at Pine Bluff.

Nectar grabbing bees on one of the lilies.

This bee is expecting this lily to pop open real soon.
