Skagway, Ak.
On entering Skagway, Ak. a view of mountain side filled with graffiti. Around 1900 the mountain timber was havested and the bare mountain acted as a huge billboard.

The site provided a view of Skagway Port on Lynn Canal.
Harding Glacier also viewed from this site.
As I return to ship the Skagway Alaska Street Car Tour is ready for more customers.
On preparing to leave Gwen notices a skull amongst the graffiti.
As we dine, a waterfall is spotted outside.

Icy Strait Point

Everyone received a cedar strip, Donna tosses hers into the flames. Some spiritual significance associated with this act.

Icy Strait Point at one time processed Salmon. Here is some old salmon processing equipment.
Salmon processing died out. Now canning of stuffed toys is part of tourist industry.

A Couple of Pictures Provided by Gwen
Barb and Gwen were the only two to actually see whales. The rest saw in the distance water from the blow holes. Barb and Gwen also saw a few porpoises but Gwen had no camera at the time.
