While camera'n the above bees another type of bee was observed and camera'd. No one in the family had seen one before; a feeble search on the internet turned up no photos that resembled this creature. Therefore, the conclusion that this is a new species was reached. Since it was found in the clover on Mom and Dad's place, it has been given the name of Fritz bee in memory of Dad, Fred (Fritz) Forst. (I've since been informed this critter is actually a bumblebee moth; I'm not sure I accept this bit of information.) Fritz bee photos follow.
