Jumper events are purely athletic tests of speed and strength. Style does not
count. Clean jumps and time determine the winner.
Jumps may be vertical or oxers. Vertical jumps test the horse's height jumping ability.

*** Grand Prix Ring ***
Jumper ring with more challenging jumps.

Walking the course - riders can walk and study course prior
to event; horses are not allowed on course before their run.
Lead line rider - lead line riders are youngsters who take
center ring prior to Grand Prix events. They are judged on riding form and control of
horse; each always receives a blue ribbon. Great riders coming up in the future.
