Walking with the Dinosaurs

Sunday evening "Walking with the Dinosaurs", a people-in-customes and robotic/peopled-dinosaurs production, was at the coast coliseum.
In the first x million years eggs were laying all over the fern covered
earth. Here is a batch of eggs, notice two young'ens are emerging.

A short time later, minutes not millions of years, the mother defends her
eggs from a predator. (A few minutes earlier the predator was around while
the mother was loafing, the missing young'en did not emerge and hide. The
predator took it behind a fake rock; no kiddies were freaked out.) The mother
saved the rest of her young - for the time remaining in this segment, anyway.

Skipping several minutes of the show and an intermission, millions and
millions of years are skipped to the day when the end the dinosaur age begins.
On that day this vegetarian is roaming and grazing.

Also this vegetarian. (A palentologists just happened to be around to document
this event and others in fossils and other geological formations.)

In more minutes skipped, a young Trex enters and eyes the two vegetarians as
a fine lunch, but he soon discovers that the horns and club tail of the
vegetarians are bit too much for him and calls for help. His momma comes
running; the vegetarians make a successful escape. The mother and baby Trexes
wander about, entertaining and the mother frightening the audience near the
small wall around the colesium floor.

The show ends with a huge meteor heading for what will be the Gulf of Mexico.
The Trex mother reassures the youngster that she has this under control and dares
the meteor to continue on its course. Paleontologists tell us the meteor took the
dare and Momma Trex and most fellow earthlings of the time did not fare well.
